IF formula is not working for few cloumns

Hi Team,

I have an excel inventory file in which when I change the years in column "C" the values entered in the cloumnn "H" & "I" will get reflected from july to jan.

But when the years is selected to jan-18 in column "C" the values entered in the coloumn "H" & "I" is not getting reflected in the cloumn from "J" to "W".

Kindly help on this issue.

Advance thanks friends.

All your formulas are referencing 2017, so they will never pull in any 2018 data
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: IF formula is not working for few cloumns

The date in C6 is 18th Jan 2017. The formulae you have in columns J to W are checking for dates after this (1st July 2017 for J/K, 1st August 2017 for L/M, etc). Since 18th Jan 2017 is before those dates, the result you're getting is 'blank' from the "" in the last part of the formula. The same applies in column L onwards for 17th July 2017 in C7.

The problem is being caused by the drop-down list values you have. 17-Jan, 17-Feb, etc are translated by Excel as '17th January of current year', '17th February of current year', etc. Change the data validation to '2017-Jan', '2017-Feb', etc and that should fix things for you.

Hope that helps.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
