    Question Dynamic Formula Help

Here is a basic formula referencing a new workbook.

    ='[Boiler Orders.xlsx]Week 01'!$B$2

Is there a way to have the "Week 01" portion of the formula be the text value of a cell???

    Thanks for the help!!

    Re: Dynamic Formula Help

There sure is. Have a look at the INDIRECT() function. It does exactly this.

As a volatile function it's not recommended that it is used excessively.

Shout if you need more help.

    Question Re: Dynamic Formula Help

I have seen several different examples but have not been able to get a working solution. Is it also true that this INDIRECT function only works for workbooks that are open?? Is there another solution ?
