I work in the engineering field and use excel to copy and past large output files to other programs. CAD will out put a station in 1+00 and this needs to be converted to 100, any ideas how to do this?
1+00 the plus is not a plus sign for instance 23+89 would be 23*100+89=2389.
Try
=SUBSTITUTE(A1,"+","")+0
or with a macro on the column itself

maybe this way:
type somewhere in cell : 100
copy this
select range of your original values
use Paste - Paste Special - Multiply
edit: wrong idea because original value is 1+00 (text)
