Cannot get new Table rows to inherit formatting from previous rows

Attached table, I use keyboard TAB to insert new row when reaching D3, and I get those new rows. I have tried Design > Convert to range, then remake as table, same thing. I really would like to be able to hit TAB at D# and get a new row with the same color/border formatting on the table row, greatly appreciate any assistance!!

Re: Cannot get new Table rows to inherit formatting from previous rows

A little bit of testing on my end shows that if you highlight A2:D3 (assuming that is your entire table) and change the cell formatting, the cell formatting is automatically copied down to a new row once it is created using the tab key at D3.

Since this is not what you are experiencing, can you share a copy of the workbook for us to troubleshoot? Remove all sensitive data.

Referring to the example that you shared in post #3, select A2:D3 then click on "Note" in Styles.

Now when you add a new row, the formatting will be there.
