Large date base has some entries with number after the street name

As example: 1000 Main St 187
    or
    1100 Jones St 100D

I suspect these are apt numbers. My columns are as follows:
    A B
    Street Number Street Name
    1000 Main St 187
    1100 Jones St 100D

What I need to show is:
    A B
    Street Number Street Name
    1000 Main St
    1100 Jones St

I suspect these are apt numbers.
If you mean that you think that this is a suitable representative sample of data, I doubt it.

How many rows and columns do you need? The databases have 10 columns of data and 1,000,000 rows. I have been going over manually the Street Column and it appears that about 2-5% have these numbers, which from looking at Google Maps, the addresses fall into areas of Apartments. That is why I thought they are apt numbers. Let me know what you need to look at in size of representative sample. thanks

Ah, I see - you mean apartment numbers, not apt numbers.

So are you saying that your entire dataset is of addresses that end in St (before the apartment number)?

Unfortunately no. The Street Names are various as you find in any city. Some end in St, Ave, Blvd, etc., and some with no extensions.
I could do a Text to Column and find then sort each new column to find the numbers, but I am worried that I might cause a problem in keeping each row of data in the right row. One small misstep and my entire data base would be worthless.

OK, so as I suggested at the start, your sample is nowhere near representative. You need to provide at least as many rows as there are patterns in your data.

Okay I will work on that. It will take time to find all of them
