Conditional Formating

example.jpg
Hi all.
I need help with conditional formatting. I have an excel sheet where i am basically tracking if jobs are completed within the given due date. I have the following columns: Job name, Assigned date, Due date, Job status. The due date is Assigned date + 4 days, and depending on job status i need the entire row to turn red(when job status is not either "complete" or "called" within the given due date), yellow(when job status is not either "complete" or "called" 3-4 days after assigned date) and green(when job status is either "complete" or "called" within the given due date).

Thank you for all the help.

Re: Conditional Formating

You need to select conditional formatting -> new rule -> use formula -> enter the formula =INDIRECT("D"&ROW())="Complete" (for example), enter the format you want.

Then conditional formatting -> manage rules -> applies to enter your range.

geek, welcome to the forum

1. Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(note: this change is not optional )

2. You dont need INDIRECT for this.
3. you will need a rule for each condition/color
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards

Maybe so, but that still does give any details on what the OP needs to do
