some function are not available in office 2016

FIRST I'm using office 2016 32 bit, there is no SWITCH, TEXTJOIN function in the said version, is the said function part of office 365, second what is the difference between OFFICE 2016 and OFFICE 365

Both the SWITCH and TEXTJOIN functions are only available if you have an Office 365 subscription.
