Conditional Formatting based on odd or even numbers

Hi, I need help with making a list of numbers from 1-100 in cells A1:A100 red or blue based on whether they are odd or even. I been searching a while, and nothing has come up. Also, if someone could explain how the "format conditions" is set up in excel 2013, that would be wonderful. I seem to be writing everything wrong. *Disclaimer* I started VBA a week ago

in CF:
=ISODD(A1)
=ISEVEN(A1)
