Hello Mazie,
When sorting by days, the resultant sort is usually alphabetic and not in day order (Monday, Tuesday etc....). When using the inbuilt sort function, you can create a custom sort which will do the sort for you in day order. However, if you wish to use a macro, there are a few work-arounds which should work. Following is one method which will sort each section separately for you. I've used Columns A, L and W as temporary helper columns to sort the separate sections in day order starting from Monday. The helper columns are used to number the days 1 - 7 starting with Monday as day 1. The sort is then done on these numbers.
As you can see, there are four codes which are basically the same except for their names and their reference to the helper columns. Each separate code is then assigned to a button at the top of each section so, after you have entered/updated data and a button is clicked on, the section below that button will be sorted in day order starting from Monday.
I have attached your sample workbook with the codes implemented. Click on a "RUN" button to see the sort happen.
You may also notice that I have changed the special character "Ø" with an "O". I'm sure that you can work this out to suit.
I hope that this helps.
Cheerio,
vcoolio.
