refer to range with INDIRECT

Hi all,

How can I refer to a range with INDIRECT without using VBA? The range I want to refer to is:

e.g.

where "CST" changes depending on the selection in my ComboBox.

Re: refer to range with INDIRECT

If you are referring to a named range, why bother with INDIRECT?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: refer to range with INDIRECT

Because I have 100+ named ranges and want to refer to the one that is relevant (depending on what is selected in my combo boxes).

e.g.

FY18_JPN_DTC_CST
FY18_JPN_DTC_RTL
FY18_JPN_DTC_UNT
FY18_KOR_DTC_CST
FY18_KOR_DTC_RTL
FY18_KOR_DTC_UNT

etc...

Is your combobox linked to a cell?

Re: refer to range with INDIRECT

Then the formula should be
=SUMIFS(INDIRECT("FY18_JPN_DTC_"&A1),Category,"PANT",Attribute,"BLUE"))
or whatever the linked cell is

Re: refer to range with INDIRECT

Ups... just realised, my named range "Selected_Metric" was slightly off, so it was giving me a #REF. It's working fine now! Thanks!
