    Manage "comments"

I have a spreadsheet where I make liberal use of "comments" to explain the contents of cells. This is useful but comes at the expense of cluttering up the page and detracting from legibility.
It is possible to show or hide comments for cells individually but from what I can see it is not possible to toggle on / off the display of all comments - in a range selection or on a page - at a time. Is there a way round this?
    Thanks for any inspired tips.

In Excel 2003, no. In later versions, yes.

I believe that mine is Excel 2016. How then do I do what I want to do? Toggle all comments at once? Tks

That's why we ask people to put their Excel version in their profile, and yours shows 2003.

I don't have Excel 2016 to see, but 2010 has buttons on the Review tab to do that.

    All is revealed, brilliant thanks.

I did have Excel 2003 originally until hard drive melt down. Replaced with 2016 (though I can't find the "About" tab to confirm this) since when I have been trying unsuccessfully to find where all the commands etc are hidden. I will intend to update my profile.
