    Hi mercy,

Excel likes data in tables! Because you have blank columns between your data it isn't considered an excel table. Read these two links to better understand the power of Excel Tables.

    .
Presuming your data will always lie within H21:H29, this macro will do the job for you :

Please Login or Register to view this content.
The above requires a CommandButton attached to the macro to run it.

If you paste the macro code into the Sheet Level Module, it will to the sort automatically whenever something changes in the range H21:29

Hi there. I also want the quarters sorting as going to give a prize for winners in quarter and then a prize for yearly winner if that makes sense. The data will always be in them colomuns. I only like spaces as I don't like it all crammed together.

    Hi mercy,

I'm a little sad at your comment of:
I only like spaces as I don't like it all crammed together.
If you had only three columns of Name, Date and Sold; you could do a great looking Pivot Table that could do all you work for you. (No formulas needed!!)

    https://fiveminutelessons.com/learn-...el-pivot-table or
    https://trumpexcel.com/group-dates-i...-tables-excel/

BUT - if your data isn't in a table (no blank columns in the table) you can't do the above.

Don't worry, we have lots of people who refuse to structure their data to be more efficient and use the tools built into Excel. I call those worksheets "Pretty" but not "Efficient". You will only go so far in using the power of excel if you refuse to use "Tables".

    Re: Help with leaderboards

Hi Marvin, If I merge cells so can make it bigger and still pretty would that work as a table, I have no idea what a pivot table is. I only Need Name and link deals sold, then whoever has highest sales in quarter 1,2,3,4 and the yearly total to be at the top preferably highlighted with colour.

Had to remove links as wouldn't allow me to post.
