PowerPivot - Import data and append new data on a daily basis

Hello!
I'm currently using PowerQuery to pull in a CSV report from a folder on the network. This report (on the network) is updated daily with new stats from the previous day - When I refresh my report (on a daily basis) the old data is overwritten with the new data on the network report.

I'm looking for the ability to have the new data append to the old data each day I refresh (not overwrite the old data). Would like to start loading this data into PowerPivot as it will be a lot of data.

Is this possible?

You can try this way:

• get data from folder
• load first data to the sheet
• convert query table to the range
• click first cell under old data
• refresh query to get data from new csv (new csv overwrite old csv - right?)
• then load new data into the sheet

you need a little play with setup of PowerQuery to set not load data automatically to the sheet

this is only idea but there is no full automated way as you want
besides if you overwrite old data with new data file, your source of old data cease to exist
