Cutting and Pasting

I was wondering if there is a way to paste from excel without the cell background color and borders

what I normally have to do is cut from excel, paste into word, use the paste options on the bottom left "text only" - select all text - reduce line spacing to 1 - cntrl H - More - Special - White Space - put one space in the "replace with" box, hit replace all, copy from word into my PO..

This is a pain.... any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry all my images are gigantic - 1st image is pasting from excel with format - 2nd image is after doing all the stuff in word - 3rd image is pasting it into my PO.
