    Vlookup help

    Hi,

    i want to be able to see the total amount of each product ordered. Please help:

    Apple 5 Apple
    Banana 1 Banana
    Grapes 4 Grapes
    Pineapple 2
    Strawberrys 9
    Apples 1
    Strawberrys 3
    Grapes 11

    Have you tried a Pivot Table?

    Put your data in two adjacent columns and two column labels, e.g. Fruits, Quantity in A1:B1

    Then the PT will take you all of 10 seconds.

    Use sumif:

    =SUMIF($A$2:$A$9,$G2,$C$2:$C$9)
