    Ignoring several blank cells

Hi, I'm making a score sheet for my students at my school, to record their test scores.

I am having trouble ignoring multiple, blank values, can anyone help?
If a student is not able to complete one part of the test, I don't want it to affect the grade...

The lookups and weighting of the test scores are on another tab.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you explain what numbers are wrong and what they should be? Highlight them maybe?

    Re: Ignoring several blank cells

So student in Row 8 got 50/50 (100%) in their test, but has not completed the Dataskills 7A or 7B (out of/12). I want his unit % to be 100%, so to ignore the blank scores in K8 and M8...

    Thanks for your hlep

    Try this:

    =IFERROR(IF(COUNT(H6:N6)=0,"",MIN(100,I6)*Lookups!$G$6+(((MIN(K6,$L$4)/$L$4)*100)*Lookups!$H$6)+(((MIN(M6,$L$4)/$N$4)*100)*Lookups!$I$6)),"")

    Re: Ignoring several blank cells

It's almost correct, but the scores become too high now, probably because of the weighting of the different tests.... there's probably a better way for me to design my mark sheet

Yeah I don't think it will work. If one score is missing, then the weighting changes

    Re: Ignoring several blank cells

    Thanks for the rep.

The issue here is with your request: I have supplied a solution that does what you asked for in your opening post. What you have failed to do is think it through properly. Perhaps if you restate your request, once you have given it the proper thought, someone will provide you with a new solution that works for you.
