Importing text files to Excel, Adjust Column Width not giving the expected results

I'm importing a fixed width text file into Excel. I am experiencing issues with having the correct column width when the data gets imported. I have been using the Text Import Wizard. The file is very large and it takes a fair amount of clicking to get to a price field to set the proper widths for the 4 price columns. I thought that checking Adjust Column Width in the Properties tab might make this more efficient but it still leaves fragments of a price in the wrong field for prices over $999.99. Any input will be gratefully considered.
Thanks much,
Bill

Usually, if you highlight all the columns and then move your cursor to the right upper margin of the last column in the column designation (A, B, C etc.) and double click it will automatically set the width of the columns to as wide as necessary.

You can do Alan's suggestion also if you highlight multiple columns
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
