    COUNTIFS between 2 dates

    this formula works fine for me...

    =COUNTIFS(Data!$M$980:$M$2000,"C*",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,">=01/01/2017",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,"<=31/01/2017",Data!$J$980:$J$2000,"1")

    I wish to insert date from cell B1 (which is 01/01/2017)

    I don't know to write formula..please help.

    something like ....
    =COUNTIFS(Data!$M$980:$M$2000,"C*",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,">=B1(YEAR),B1(MONTH),B1(DAY)",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,"<=B1(YEAR),B1(MONTH),B1(END OF MONTH)",Data!$J$980:$J$2000,"1")

    Why cant you just reference B1 directly?

    Something like...
    =COUNTIFS(Data!$M$980:$M$2000,"C*",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,">="&B1,Data!$I$980:$I$2000,"<="&EOMONTH(b1,0),Data!$J$980:$J$2000,"1")

    Try this:

    =COUNTIFS(Data!$M$980:$M$2000,"C*",Data!$I$980:$I$2000,">="&B1,Data!$I$980:$I$2000,"<="&EOMONTH(B1,0),Data!$J$980:$J$2000,"1")
