    Problem making multiple calendar pages

I have created an auto-populating calendar with a spin button to choose the year. I would like to be able to have one workbook where each sheet is a different year. I originally tried to combine two separate workbooks by copying my 2018 calendar (with data entries) and pasting it onto the second sheet of the workbook that had my 2017 calendar (with data entries), but I got an error saying "A formula or sheet you want to move or copy contains the name 'JanSun1" ...". I have also tried to copy and paste a blank calendar onto another page, but when I do this the spin button no longer works. I have uploaded the file. The second tab contains my copy/paste with the inoperable spin button.

The problem is that your names JanSun1 etc are defined as workbook names. On the Formulas tab click Name Manager. You'll see that all the names have a 'scope' of workbook. This means that they apply to all sheets/tabs. What you need to do is re-define them all as worksheet-only names. Unfortunately, Excel doesn't let you do that directly - you have to re-create each one and set the scope then.

    1. Use a file with just one, working, calendar sheet. Check that's it's working how you want it. (Note, it's usually best to work on a copy just to be safe.)
    2. Go to the Name Manager.
    3. Select the first Name (probably AprSun1). Note down that name (yes, it's the name of a Name - confusing) and copy what's in the Refers to box.
    4. Delete that Name.
    5. Click New.
    6. Type the name you noted into the Name box and paste what you copied into the Refers to box. Do NOT click OK.
    7. Change the Scope from Workbook to the name of the sheet you're working on - probably Calendar. Now you can click OK .
    8. Repeat steps 3-7 for all of the Names. Close the Name Manager.
    9. Re-check that the calendar is still working fine.
    10. Copy the sheet. You'll now have another sheet which will have all the same Names but with a Scope which applies to the new sheet. The spin-button should now work on all sheets.

    Hope that helps.

If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
