Post How to change the font color based on multiple condition

hi all

Problem is
I am preparing a consolidate mark sheet.
The student may appear for Moralscience(MSc) or Islamicstudies(IS).
If student appear for MSc then passing mark is >15 where as If the student appear for IS then the passing maark is>25.
If the student gets<25 and <15 then cell value should be displayed in red with underline

Re: How to change the font color based on multiple condition

Hi, welcome to the forum

You dont give any details about where the info will be located, so assuming the course is in A2 and the mark is in B2 (row 1 would contain headings...
If you are familiar with CF, ignore the 1st 2 points
1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =or(and(A2="Msc",B2<=15),and(A2="IS",B2<=25))

Format fill RED
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
