Averageifs month and 3 more conditions

    Hi guys,
I'm a litle stucked in here. I have this formula:

    AVERAGEIFS([Un Price],[Entity],[@Entity],[Item],[@Item])

Which gives me the average price by Entity and item but i would like to add the month, because the next month it could be a different value and i wanna compare later with other suppliers (entity).

The point is: i have to know for each item code, who's giving me the best price. But i also wanna know, the max, min and avg for each item, by entity of course.
I believe this the way to start, by that formula above, right?
I'm very open to any ideas.
Thank you very much to you all.
    Best regards
    Pedro

    Hi Pedro,

It would be easier to help you if you could post a sample workbook showing your data layout and some manually generated expected results.

Re: Averageifs month and 3 more conditions

    Hey Brad
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me, but i've found a "middle" solution.

    AVERAGEIFS([Un Price],[Entity],[@Entity],[Item],[@Item],[Date],">="&EOMONTH([@Date],-1)+1,[Date],"<="&EOMONTH([@Date],0))

I would prefer to "compare" it to the month instead of dates, you know? for example :

    AVERAGEIFS([Un Price],[Entity],[@Entity],[Item],[@Item],Month([Date]),[@MONTH)

    Somehow this is not working.
    Hey, but thanks anyway

Well, if it's not working, attach a sample worksheet showing your expected answer (calculated manually).

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment. So, to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: Just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
