    Question Count the continuous positive results.

    Hello friends,

    Here is the case I am not able to resolve in excel.
    there is a attendance data of the month like
    date 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30
    name
    a p p p p p p p a p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p a a a a a p p p p p p p p p p p p p
    b p p p p p p a p p p p p p p p p a p p p p p p p p p p p p p a p p p p p p p p p p p p
    and there is lot of employees likes this.

    the result i want is if someone has worked for continuous 6 days in a month then i want "yes" and if not than "NO".

    i don't want count of how many times in a month just yes if he had worked continuous 6 days at any time in a month.

    kindly help me out with this.

    One way, using an array formula:
    =IF(MAX(FREQUENCY(IF(B3:AF3="P",COLUMN(B3:AF3)),IF(B3:AF3="A",COLUMN(B3:AF3))))>=6,"Yes","No")

    Array Formulae are a little different from ordinary formulae in that they MUST be confirmed in the FIRST CELL ONLY by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. After that, the array can be dragged down as normal, to cover the desired range.

    You will know the array is active when you see curly brackets { } - or "curly braces" for those of you in the USA, or "flower brackets" for those of you in India - appear around the outside of your formula. If you do not use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will (almost always) get an error message or an incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

    Don't type the curly brackets yourself - it won't work...

    try this dude,
    =IF(ISERROR(SEARCH(REPT("P",10),CONCAT(E4:AI4),1)),"NO","YES")

    it is more reliable.
