Lightbulb Auto-Fill... Different type than the norm

    Good Afternoon,

This is my first post on here, I've joined as I use Excel a lot (only the basic stuff), but by joining up I'd like to improve my knowledge on Excel..

I've got a bit of a dilemma, I'm struggling to type exactly what I need into Google & here (on the search bar) so thought I'd just create a post..

What I'm after doing is an Auto-Fill, but not like what the norm i.e. select Cell A1, click the bottom right corner and drag down.

I'm creating a questionnaire and would like "tick box" in Cell J41 (see photo) to auto-complete a number of cells further down in the questionnaire G101 - G104. The Cells G101 - G104 are a drop down of Yes, No, N/A and i'd ideally like them all to be "YES" once J41 is ticked.

    Thank you

You can assign the check-box to a cell and write formulas to change display based on that cell value [True or False].
See attached sample. Click the check-box and see values in highlighted cells change.

    simple formula used:

    =IF(A$2,"Yes","No")

Or you can use VBA to get more flexibility.

    Thank you for your response,

What you have done an example of is perfect, but I'm struggling on how to transfer that to my document. How did you get Cell A2 to change between True / False once the tick box is ticked/unticked? - IGNORE, I've now found out how to do this..

I've now found out how to complete my question above, I've copied your formula and it's worked brilliant, thank you for that!
