Sorting using the column heading in a table not working with values as the result of formu

I hope my title pleases the descriptive title Gods. I ran out of characters but the last word should be "formulas"

For some reason. When I click the little arrow next to a column title in this table I created doesn't properly sort. The values in the cells are numbers that are the result of a formula. Columns that have numbers entered directly appear to sort normally. I'm obviously missing something here. I've sorted values based on formulas in the past with no trouble.

    Thanks

Are you able to post a desensitized sample of your file so the experts and gurus can see what you're working with?

To attach a file to your post: (Please no pics or screenshots ... saves retyping data.),

be sure to desensitize the data
    • click “Go Advanced” (next to Post Quick Reply – bottom right),
    • scroll down until you see “Manage Attachments”, click that,
    • click “Browse”.
    • select your file(s)
    • click “Upload”
    • click “Close window”
    • click “Submit Reply”
The file name will appear at the bottom of your reply.

Should be attached now. Thanks. Table in question is on the merge tab.

After staring at this for some time, I think I was able to figure out why the sort wasn't working.
