    Select the range
    I have used

    $C$4:$AG$74

    =AND(C$3>TODAY(), C4<>0)

    however that does muck up your total fill colours

    so you could set up different ranges to keep it tidy

    Hi
    Select the range to highlight, then Conditional Formatting>New Rule >Use Formula to determine.....

    Formula =INDIRECT(ADDRESS(3,COLUMN()))=TODAY()
    apply formatting as required

    Re: Highlight the upcoming transaction

    Hi, is there possible to still keep the highlighted cell highlight even though the transaction already past. For example, today is 29 Jan 2019, when I entered transaction for 30 Jan 2019 and it will be highlight. But this highlight still keep remain when tomorrow or day after tomorrow. In other words, it will not change once it had been highlighted unless user change it manually

    Re: Highlight the upcoming transaction

    i think you may need VBA to do that ( not my area )
    If a transaction has been entered sometime in the future you want those transactions that have been entered in the future to always be highlighted

    Conditional formatting as i set out , will only look at the instant at not take into account what had happened maybe days ago.
