View all active filters in columns.

    Hi all,

I'm looking to know if there is an easy way of viewing all filtered selections on a spread sheet? Eg column A has excluded 2 items, column 6 is sorted a-z and column 9 is excluding blank, just for example. But what I want to be able to do is get a view of all these at the same time for ease of use.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Alan

Sounds like you want to be able to open the dropdown filter menu for all columns at once, or something along those lines?

There are ways to design a sheet with custom dynamic filters and such (using VBA) that could result in having a visual display of all currently applied filters... but since you're asking for an "easy way", I think the correct answer to your question, unfortunately, is "no".

Thanks for getting back to me! Yes that's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm surprised there is no option for this. Maybe some day thanks again

No problem, and you're right... I've wished for both a "view all active filters" button and a "find all formulas" button on more than one occasion. Just keep in mind, it took them until 2010 to put a search bar in the filter dropdown field... some things take time, LOL!
