Cell colour gradient depending on values?

Hi, this screen shot isn't quite what I'd like - https://snag.gy/0BRQNA.jpg

    I would like L to be a gradient combining I, J, K if possible?!

    Thank you!

Sorry but this description doesn't explain what you want it to look like. A gradient format can only apply to one cell, but you want to somehow combine three cells. It is not clear what you mean by "combine". And a picture of what you don't want leaves me scratching my head about what you do want.

Sorry, I’ve included my sheet with a stacked bar chart showing what I want to achieve - preferably without having to create 39 separate charts...

You can create a bar chart for that.. see the attachment. I put it on a separate sheet and hide the ribbon to get maximum size possible.
Also had to change colors of bars and size of the letters and numbers and the gap width between 2 bars to get a nice looking result.

snapshot of part of the graph and full result in attachement.
