Need help comparing same time period different years

Hi All, So I have 4 queries that return the following info..
Customer Name
Total Sale
Posted Period(month and year of sale)
Sale #

So, these are part sales to customers. Customers can have multiple sales per period / per year.

Each query is for 1 year.

What I am trying to do is compare purchases from 1 year to the next for the same customers according to whatever time frame I want to see (these would be the parameters)
I want to be able to see the difference PER customer to see which ones are up and which ones are down, again according tot he time frame I have
I have attached an example the tab called WHAT I WANT is what I am looking for. Thanks

I've put all your data on single sheet 'Data' so that a Pivot Table can be applied.

If you wish to keep a separate sheet for each year then ou could use a Power Query or a Power Pivot Add In.

I suspect you'll will probably still need to add the helper columns

I suggested you, If you add data validation in "D1"
In "B9"
