VBA Slice Setting "Show Items Delete from the Data source"

    Hi there,

I'm wondering if there is someone out there that has dealt with this issue. I have a workbook that has several worksheets with pivot tables. Each of these pivot tables has a number of slicers. When the source data for the pivot tables is updated I have to manually go to each slicer on each worksheet, then go to the Slicer Settings and uncheck the box for Show Items Delete from the Data source. I would rather handle this programmatically when I'm doing the other data massaging each time I import new data. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

    Thanks!

Turn on the macro recorder and let manually record you doing the thing you want to automate. Then turn off the recorder and examine the resulting code. It frequently needs tweaking to eliminate unnecessary selecting and activating, but it gives you an excellent jump start on the syntax you need in general.
