We have a need to connect to an on-premises MS SQL Database, but are using Office 365 Excel.

1) Is it possible to connect to a local MS SQL DB using this Office 365 version of Excel?

2) I don't see any 'From other Sources' options on the Connections tab within the Data ribbon. Only 'Refresh All Connections'. Are there configuration options to allow me to define SQL connections within 365 Excel? Is there a way to add these options? Are there any any rights or licensing limitations or variations that preclude this capability?
