I have a spreadsheet where I would like to enter a shift time into a cell, for example 11.00 - 14.00, and the sheet automatically colour fills certain cells relating to that time. Attached is an example of what I mean.
Any help appreciated

I've recreated a bit you time into time similar syntax and values, like below:

drag it right and down and applied Conditional Formating for cell with x as yellow background/yellow font (range B3:D26).
Check attached file.
Should works as needed.

Your times are not consistent with the values in column A.
See this file, note the formulas in column B D and F
and the conditional formatting

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
you can do that with a conditional formatting rule that contains an AND for the rule..

I picked a blue color. you should see the result in the file when you open it.
Works great, any chance that the conditional formatting can turn the cells blue and display "0.5" in each cell?
Try the following:
1. Use Roel's formula as a conditional formatting rule.
2. Modify the formula as follows and use it to place the '0.5' values in the highlighted cells:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
