    Sum all cell values of same date

    Hello,

    I need help with a formula.

    In Column A I have dates, In column B I have dollar amounts.

    I want to sum the total dollar amount for all dates in Column A.

    Attached is a sample.

    Thank you for any help on this.

    you could insert a pivot table - that would find all the unique dates and sum automatically
    OR
    use

    =SUMIF(Range, Criteria , Sum range)
