I have a similar spreadsheet which I have modified for 6 animals with 5 cuts but cant get the scoring to work any help would be welcome, JP1-JP6 is the ordering of the animals ABCXYZ, and dif1 to 5 are the cuts...I believe something is wrong in the AMM1 Vs AMM2 bit and score calculations.
Code Deleted as shg has better working version

Thanks Pepe I have done what you asked, have not used the forum for many years so sorry.
Can you post a link to where 6-animal scoring is described?
EDIT: More specifically, the rules for valid cuts.

Thanks Shg this is excellent, hopefully with a few amendments is exactly what i need.
You're welcome.
Hi Shg, i have made my changes to this but cannot get the conditional formatting to work properly, sometimes it shows 1st 2nd and not 3rd and dont know why it wont show all 3 colours, especially on the first class.
anyone can figure this out for me i would be grateful.
This proposal for the conditional formatting employs helper columns which may be moved and/or hidden for aesthetic purposes.
The helper columns (Z:AD) are populated using formulas similar to:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
The conditional formatting rules for Class 1 are:
Blue: =F9=LARGE($Z$9:$Z$29,1)
Red: =F9=LARGE($Z$9:$Z$29,2)
Yellow: =F9=LARGE($Z$9:$Z$29,3)
Note that in the attached file the conditional formatting rules have only been applied to Class 1.
