I'm using Excel 2016 and have enabled the "Page Layout > Sheet Options > [Print] Row and column headings" option, so that my *printed documents* have the A,B,C,etc. column headings across the top of the sheet and 1,2,3,etc. row numbers down the side of the sheet.
Given that my documents are deliverable to clients, I am trying to use Page Layout View to ensure everything is formatted professionally etc. before printing; however, Page Layout View does not seem to be able to show the *printed* row and column headings. To be clear, the "View > Show > Headings" option is on, so I can see these headings in the off-print area with the rulers etc., but Excel is not rendering the heading rows on the actual printable sheet itself.
Is this a bug, or is there a way to show the row and column headings *as printed* in Page Layout View?
