Copying a formula, where the cell it lands in will be fixed.

    So my problem is this.

I got a sheet that consists for few "Arrays" of differente sizes. So each array represents each day from a software i use, and a smaller array from another software.

So what im trying to do, is to copy a Match formula, that will move the fixed first value of a range at the new location. So lets say the first fixed value is $A$1 and the formula is in B1, so when i copy the formula to lets say D1, the first value in the range is $D$1. Then i could drag the formula easily down without having to click F2 button and make it fixed manually.

I hope i make things pretty clear.

best regards and hopeful for a solution.

If you refer in formula to a first cell (always row1) of proceeding column so in column B you want to refer always to A1 , but want formula copied to column F to refer always to E1 use
    mixed addressing:

    A$1

    not $A$1

If that's not what you asked for - consider attaching small sample workbook
