Trying to filter a column and ignore hidden rows

Hi all,

Been a long time since I've been on here, but could really do with some help before I throw this computer out of the window! (Deadlines don't help.)

I've just created a column on a spreadsheet and gone down it putting in Y or N so that I can then filter that column.

However, I have just found over 200 hidden rows. Instead of enlarging every single one of these and inputting a Y or a N, is there a way to ignore them?
