Remove duplicates but keep latest data

    Hi everyone,

I have a spreadsheet list that has dozen of employees who have completed numbers of training on different dates, some did the same training multiple times because of validity/expiry dates. So removing duplicate employee, training, and completed date won't work because it will delete that specific employee's data.

Therefore, I would like to keep latest completed date data of duplicate training for each employee. If that makes sense. I have attached the spreadsheet for your review and to work. I am asking your advice and help cuz I dont possess the required knowledge and skills the accomplish this myself.

    Thanks in advance, much appreciated!

Re: Remove duplicates but keep latest data

Unfortunately, it is not what I am looking for or want to do. Let's say, I want to list all employees down from A2 to A11; and all training list from B1:B21 - this is without any duplicate employee name or training. And imagine on B2 we have the training completion date for A2 employee and so on B3, B4, ... matching from A2:A11, A100 or whatsoever. Please note each individual might have completed the same training on different date, so lets not remove that duplicate because we need that data cuz it has different completion date for each specific individual.

Thank you. Hope it makes sense.

    Hi,

is it if using pivot table will solve your problem?
try go to insert, find pivot table, then create at new worksheet.

after finish, go to design, find subtotal, choose "do not show subtotal"

Pivot table is not working or not showing what I want to show. I have attached the workbook - someone already fixed it and not its showing what I want/how it want it to be by using formula. But I used pivot table on ALL tab to show pivot table is not working, I may be doing it wrong (I have highlighted how it should look for your reference. But if you can make it work please show me. Thank you.
