Links, formatting and attachments from tab to another not working due to formulas?

Hi,

I found an excel document freely shared on here but cant post a link to it or attach it as am not allowed due to being new which I want to use as it is very helpful to my objective but have some issues.

1) There are two tabs in the excel sheet of second reply of the thread (excelforum.com / excel-general / 1158384-creating-a-faq-knowledge-base-with-excel DOT html # post5202060), the second tab has information and the first tab populates it when a strings are searched, the issue am having is that when I add formatting to the second tab to the text in a cell it does not reflect the changes in the first tab as the formatting to the text is lost? How to get around this?

2) When I add attachments/files to a cell in the second tab, the attachment does not show with the text in the first tab?

3) Links do not work on the first tab when added to the second tab? How can I make it so the links in the first tab can be clicked and opened?

It seems it only shows plain text and when you double click the links etc. in the first tab cells, it just brings up the formulas.
