Change color of row depending if I have a certain number in one of the boxes.

For each row in the spreadsheet I would like to have it so that if there is nothing in the first box of the row (so 0) then the row is highlighted yellow. If there is a 1 in the box, the row has no highlight, and if the box has a 2 in it I would like the color to be blue. Please help! Thanks.

for yellow select row, CF: =a2=0
for blue select row, CF: =a2=2

first.. nothing in a cell is different from 0 being in a cell. do you want the row highlighted yellow if the cell is blank OR 0? or do you want them to be different colors?

Oh I didn't realize it could treat the two differently, thanks! What I really care about is when the cell is blank.

    =OR(a2=0,a2="")
CF is conditional formatting. You need to create 2 rules, one of 0 or blank, and one for 2.
