Word-style footers

Hi,

We're moving our invoices to Excel. As you can't use 'normal' footers I've previously (talking long time ago!) got around it by putting an image in the center footer.

This time though no matter how I do it the text always looks rubbish on an actual print. On Page Layout view it looks spot on.

Is there a tick to getting the scaling right now-a-days?

Because our invoices have running totals that we want to see in real time as we're filling them out - we would lose that in Word purely from a portrait orientation pov.

I know we could do it all in Excel then MM to Word then print to PDF, but that process seems a bit overkill just for the sake of a footer!
