I am using accounting format. However some cells show 0 and some show dash (which is also 0).
How can i make it consistent throughout?

That doesn't seem all that possible. Are you sure those cells that show up as 0 or actually formatted as 0?
In my test, I've formatted 10 or so cell with numbers and some 0. The 0 shows as a dash.

You might have formatted some cells as Currency, which does display zero rather than a dash. Alternatively, the zero might be a text value (the result of a calculation which returns "0").
