Hi, I am wondering how I can display the result of any auto-correct option without having the cursor move on.

E.g. I define a non-breaking hyphen as "/break" and when I type "word/break" I would want to be able to have /"break" converted to the non-breaking space without having to press e.g. space which adds another (breaking) space which I have to undo manually.
In most cases moving on with a space after an auto-correct is certainly the intended result but there's a number of instances where this is exactly not desired, e.g. non-breaking hyphen, non-breaking space, a proper mathminus sign etc.

So in the same way as I can undo an auto-correct with Ctrl+Z, I am looking for a way to force Excel to show an auto-correct result without affecting the cursor.
[I am aware that I can also insert a non-breaking hyphen with e.g. ALT+0173 but I find the usage of number block fairly onerous over time compared to the preferred auto-correct option as described above.]

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
