There should be no problem. Is it just the one file? Have you tried opening it on another PC (i.e is the file corrupted)?

The file is not corrupted, and I am trying to open it in excel 2013 which I have just installed in a new computer.

Here is a better clarification of the problem :
"On trying to open the file, I get this error message :
We found a problem with some content in ' the file name .xlsm' . Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of the workbook click yes. "
If I click "yes" the file opens distorted without its original formatting .
