Rectangle boxes to be deleted in Excel

Hi,

I have a data in an excel file.This data is copied and pasted from another source.
I tried to delete column F,G,H .But data like date, etc is deleted but the rectangle box remained same.
I want only the data which is written and not those boxes so that this data can be used for any other purpose.

Press F5 > Special > Objects > OK > delete

You need to do "paste special" as "Text only" that will paste only the text and values and not those objects.

After you copy the webpage and go to excel don't do ctrl+v or click the paste icon.
But click the dropdown arrow under Paste icon to select the paste as text option..

Select the sheet with the boxes & press the F5 function key, then click "Special", then select "Objects", then click "OK", then hit the Delete key.

Or paste the data as described by Roel
