    Pairing workdesks

    Hi all,

I would like to make a list in excel to pair flexible workspaces each week.

Although included excel seems to work, but very often the same people are paired with each other, and/or the same desk to the same employee.

Anyone has an idea how I could solve this ?

Column A are the employee's, column F are the workspaces.
Columns C and H are randomized with 'Shuffle'-button.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Pairing workdesks

This is because you are following a set pattern you need to make your shuffle more complex/ random.

And its obvious that you go with permutation combination, that will reduce the probability of repeated occurrence.

I doubt excel might have a random formula inbuild.
