Updating data to one workbook from another workbook based on a common ID

I am trying to "update" one workbook with data from another workbook. I want to link them with a common unique ID (in this case, it would be the AFE #). I realize the easiest solution would be Vlookup, but I really need a way to obtain hard coded data (some sort of advanced copy-paste function?) any help would be greatly appreciated. the origin and destination spreadsheet are attached.
