I would appreciate if you someone could please help me create a formula (with nested IF statements) that would have a drop down list (with the possibility of choosing an particular drop down option) as one of the results.
Please see attached example.

You can't have both a Data Validaton drop down cell and a formula with a condition that returns the list range or a constant
This clearly a simplified example. Knowing the overall context of what your whole system is trying to do might help.
You might need two connected conditional drop downs or maybe a helper cell or two. Difficult to say at the moment.
