Need a solution to read data and post in prepared template

    Hello All

Been working on a large footy sporting event coming up later this year in particular the Referees area.
    Event is 5 x days, about 6,000 players, 400 x Referees, 40 x Referee Assessors, 200 officials, 20 x fields.

Thanks to assistance from others in this forum, in particular Bo_Ry and PeteMc, we have reached a stage where a specific “Ticket” needs to be generated for each game.
This “Ticket” is a small form on paper (approx. A6 size) completed by an Assessor watching a referee in each match – it’s a snapshot of a referees performance and is handed to the Referee by Assessor after their game.

Refer to the attached WB – Referee Performance Reporting-Ver1.

Outcome hoping for – Code, Formulae based or VBA
    Read all the games in each DAY; by-pass games where no Assessors have been allocated;
Produce “Tickets” as per the template in Feedback to Referee Tab. - contains example data from 9:00 am timeslot. In Games Draw Tab.
Trying to find a way to avoid separate “Tickets” template for each applicable game as that could end up a very large file.
Plan to print “Tickets” to PDF file, (A4 Landscape 150 dpi), in Game-time sequence; then cut as necessary for Assessors.- see attached example.

Referring to Feedback to Referee Tab example, cells copy from Panel Draw.
By clicking on the Greyed cells in Col A : E, will provide the sources.
Have created a Print Macro for Day 01 - click the Red Border Box at A1 in Feedback to Referees Tab.as an example of what I expect to print to PDF - See attached example.

    "Ticket" template comments:
The example shows all allocated games for DAY01, time-slot 9:00 AM, all applicable games-fields (1 – 20) across screen.
6 x “Tickets” per A4 Landscape page – Further “Tickets” templates below and across.
    If 1 x Assessor allocated to a game, then 3 x pre-prepared blank “Tickets” . –e.g. Rows 1 : 29 area - populated.
    See example with cells Greyed.
    If 2 x Assessors allocated to a game, then 3 x more “Tickets” - Rows 32 : 59 area populated.
    If 3 x Assessors allocated to a game, then 3 x more “Tickets” - Rows 60 : 87 area populated.
So, If 3 x Assessors allocated to a game, 9 x “Tickets” would be populated ready for printing to PDF.

    Common Data in all "Tickets"(e.g. A4 : E10 - in DAY 01 – 9:00 AM time-slot
    Date
    Day
    Field
    Time
    Div
In this example, most cells in Column I : U are copied from Column A : C.
    e.g. J5 & R5 = B5
    M5 & U5 = E5
    J7 & R7 = B7 and so on.

Un-common Data which changes on each “Ticket”:
    Referee Name - C3, K3, S3
    Assessor (ID Code) - B9, J9, R9
    Assessor Name - C9, K9, S9

    Actual Process at games:
Assessor completes the Ticket by end of game, and then provides brief general discussion and the “Ticket” to Referee.
Assessor and Referee/s move onto next game etc.
By end of 5 x days event, Referee will have several “Tickets’ to work with their coach to improve their performance plus provide a record of the progress.

    Hope this makes sense.

Suggestions, comments how to achieve these multiple-tickets would be appreciated please.

    Sorry for off-topic interjection:

Although there is no official rule regarding this behaviour, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.

I'm sure you understand. Please update your post with the details of the help you require.

    Hi AliGW

I did provide a substantive detail here within the thread but it seems someone has blocked its publication - so I have re-posted.

There was no blocked content and nothing in the post history to suggest more detail. Maybe you just forgot to save the detailed edit.
