Copying from same row in from responses based on text

Hi,

I'm looking to get the figure from Column B that corresponds to the respondee's name which appears in Column E. I would then copy this data to a new tab or elsewhere in the sheet to perform analysis I already have set up on it.

Any help would be appreciated,

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

thanks, that should be a workbook attached.

I'm wanting to have all the sales figures that correspond to Steve in the 2nd page. The first page is what my form response sheet looks like (had to change to an example due to confidentiality etc)

Sorry, but you haven't included a manual mock-up of the results you want to see. The Steve tab is just empty - are we meant to guess?

Please add this and attach the sample workbook again. Thanks.
