Query update/refresh only certain field

Hi
I posted a query but I'm guessing it can't be done in Excel (query to upload and manage in an existing other purpose database) as I didnt get any suggestions yet, so I've re-thought how I can simplify.
So DB1 on on source worksheet contains say 7 columns, I want the data in columns A, D and F to update and change in DB2 destination worksheet in say columns E, J and K (where EJK have same column headers as ADF and D is a unique reference). The other columns in DB2 are manually entered/dropdowns to manage the data and must not change if EJK are refreshed. I can do a simple macro to re-paste special the datavalidation if necessary in the manual cells.
